Uniquely Mine

Uniquely Mine: A Fitz Series
by Theresa Sederholt

This book kept me on the edge of my seat almost from the first page until the last with a serial killer and his sick mind and the man who plans to take him down. It is filled with suspense as a serial killer is on the loose killing victim after victim with his sick twisted games. He loves to play with his victims before he kills them leaving the reader with their heart in their throat. He has his eyes on Detective Fitz women. Fitz will do anything to protect those he loves. The hunt is on for one mad man can he be stopped before he takes his next victim or will Fitz be able to stop him.

This could be right out of the pages of a true crime book, the story is very realistic, and the characters feel real. I really liked how she portrayed Mark letting us really get into his mind seeing who he really is. Serial killers have always been something I have been very interested in, the one thing missing in true crime is being able to see how their mind words. I thought the author did a great job showing this which really pulls the reader in. She really does a wonderful job showing how all this affects each character as well as showing their feelings and just what they are thinking.

The story is full of murder, violence, action, suspense and will keep you invest from the very first page. I was so spellbound I couldn’t put the book down. It really is a page turn that held my attention from the start. If you love mysteries, murder, serial killers, suspense, actions this is the story for you. This is the first time I have read this authors work and can’t wait to read more of it.

Summary
When the latest string of murders, sweeping New York City, lands on Detective Fitzgerald S. Rodriguez’s desk, the signature evidence hits too close to home. Being unable to stop the murder of his own mother has made Fitz a jaded man. Now, he will stop at nothing to protect the one he loves.

Serial killer, Mark Chambers, is like a cat that preys on unsuspecting mice for sport. When a fresh kill no longer quenches his sexual appetite, he sets his sights on Makenna Justice. The fiery-redhead, with her emerald green eyes, ignites a fire in him that he hasn’t had since his first kill.

Time is of the essence for all three of them.

Mark must feed into his desires once more without leaving a trail.

Fitz has to dig himself deep into a killer’s mind to catch him.

And Makenna?—She just has to stay alive.
