This is

is running from her past she becomes a mail order bride in hopes in finding
that one man who will help her, protect her and her son as well be a father to
her son and over look her secret. She promise to marry but is finding it really
hard to find that one man she wants. With her turning down so many and making
waves for the manager of the railroad she looks for work to pay back the money
they gave her to bring her to this one horse town.
Ross
finds Suannah very attractive but she is not for him that is until he gets a
letter from home from his father with a few demands that must be met. He finds
he is in need of a wife and does everything in his power to pull her into not
only his embrace but to take a little piece of her heart. Just as he thinks he is making head way he
finds for every step forward there is one step back. This two step isn’t what
he had in mind, he must rethink his and work harder to make her love him as he
does her. He puts his plan into action to keep the women who holds his heart.
This was a charming clean read that
really pulls the reader in. I love Danny he was just too adorable with so much energy
that he seems to find trouble. Ross is a wonderful man who is out for his self
no doubt but also has a heart of gold and truly does come to love Suannah. I
think at first it was he wanted what he knew he couldn’t have but it doesn’t
take him long to know just what he wants and goes after it. Thing don’t always
turn out the way he wants which makes this a very interesting read. Suannah secret is a big one and I can
understand why she must find just the right man. She is running from so many
people sooner or later she is going to have to face them.
I loved the characters they were
someone I could relate to and understand. My heart really went out to Suannah
when I learned just what she was hiding. I can only imagine what it would have
been like for a women in that day and time. I totally enjoyed this plot with a
few twists and mystery that hold your attention. It is well written and a great
addition to this series. This is one of my go to authors I know when I pick up
one of her stories it is going to really touch my heart, give me smiles and
laughter along with true family values you come to love. Her twist hooks you
and her writing style keeps you coming back time and time again. I really
enjoyed this from start to finish.
