My Review
All it takes is one choice one wrong mistake and your world has changed as you know it.  Jessie husband told her something that he was working on as a newspaper reporter she wrote the story up which ended the sting the LAPD had been working on for months. This got her husband into a lot of trouble with him almost losing his job. He was put back on the walking beat and looked over for other jobs he really wanted. They separated and just about ended their marriage. Jessie will not go for a divorce because of her religion. This doesn’t mean Jessie and Cameron do not love each other because they do, it now becomes a issue of trust and getting over the hurt of the past along with in-laws who have never been supportive of their marriage. All it took was 3 little works to make Cameron come running when the earthquake hit “I need you”. With Cameron coming on the run and getting her out of a broken down building they find things are not as easy as it’s over. They must each overcome their trust issues along with evil in-laws before they can even think about getting back together.

Steven Barnett did an outstanding job of narration I loved his voices and tones he gave to each character. No breaks were taken that I could tell, there were not any places where one chapter volume was higher than the next. He gave the correct emotion and tones to each character and what they were going through. His male voices were just as nice as he female ones. Mr. Barnett has a very clear and even tone voice which is really pleasant to listen to. He paints a vivid picture of what is going on around each character. His voice and the author writing go very well together. I could tell he put some thought into how this audio was being done. I really enjoyed his voice and look forward to listening to more of his work.

Ms. Fox gives a wonderful read of a family torn apart over putting themselves first. I would have to say at first I didn’t care too much for Jessie, she should have known better than to do what she did. I thought she was a weak person to let her family walk over her like they did along with them making her feel guilty for things they wanted from her. I did understand where she was coming from and I agree one must help your family but not to the point that you are giving up everything you ever wanted to make them feel happy and them making you feel like crap. Cameron was a dream there is one part in the book where I just wanted to kiss and hug him when he stood up for his wife when someone said something that was unkind. I loved how he went after what he wanted but did so with care. The author gives you a great story on a few very touchy issues and the outcome of doing what you want not caring how that will affect others you love. This was really a very touching read with a lot of pain, sorrow and lost that each family had to deal with. Love and support can pull you through if you are willing to step back and give your time and support to those you love. The author gives you some great characters and some you won’t like so much but they will grow on you at times goes on. Each of them must learn a lesson that they won’t forget very fast. The author gives you some very heated scenes which are hot and steamy.  If you are looking for a great audio full of love, lose, sorrow, passion and lessons this is the one for you. From the narrator to the author this was a great read.
